“Justin Bieber is a musical prodigy. At the young age of fifteen, he is already one of the most successful recording artists in the United States."


Today's Soundtrack: “Baby” by Justin Bieber.

We have chosen this song today because today’s story is all about being a prodigy. Justin Bieber is an example of a prodigy, and students will be asked to think of other examples of prodigies, as well as respond to the challenges and pressures associated with being a prodigy.


Today's Warm-Up Question:“What does it mean to be a prodigy?”

A prodigy is a young person who is exceptionally talented. Many times, prodigies become really famous. Justin Beiber is an example of a musical prodigy. Can you think of any other examples of prodigies?

What do you think some of the challenges might be of becoming a prodigy?
