Tonight's Homework:

"I think banning books is a very, very dangerous thing. It takes away an important freedom. Any time there is an attempt to ban a book, you should fight it as hard as you can. It’s okay for a parent to say, ‘I don’t want my child to read this book.’ But it is not okay for anyone to try to make that decision for other people."

  1. I feel that banning books is wrong because books is an type of education that is given to all ages. Books is a way of entertainment and it has a theme to it as well as a lesson. Books are an important resource i strongly disagree about banning books. I strongly disagree because of the important it holds and the importance that it always have had. Education is very important in america and banning books would mean that the government of education does not care. By Angel Puryear

  2. I Disagree also i think taking away a book is like taking away the key element of education. we need books to help improve our reading ,learn about history and other things.without books many people wouldn't be able to read as well.i think you should be able to decide if you wanna read that book or not instead of banning it.banning books isn't going to solve anything its going to make everything worse

  3. I disagree books shouldn't be ban. They help improve your reading skill and make you smarter so it doesn't matter what book you read. Everyone is in title to read any books they want. But I think little kids should read adult book. And just because you think the book need to be ban doesn't mean everyone wants it to.

I agree, taking books from people is very dangerous. Taking books from people is like taking a important source of our education, and education is and important thing in life. Not only are books very educational, but they can also be used as a life lesson towards people in certain situations.

I agree with this quote. The reason why agree with this quote because it is true. Taking books from not only kids but people in general is very wrong and unfair. Taking and banning books would be like taking a very important source of education. Education is a very important thing to have in this world. Not only do they make you smarter but they can also be used as life lessons.

I feel as though that statement do have a good reason why we shouldn't band books.Yes I do agree because it would be easier for the students to see the work and books in front of them instead of on the computer. Books is something very important in the education theme. It helps students perfect their ready skills and it increases their vocabulary. If you band books it would be harder the us to learn. So i do no think banning books is a good idea at all.

  9. I don't agree about banning book is very, very dangerous, because i think banning is kinda good because it helps us by cutting for us to get more oxygen to breath and live, and also we don't really use books that much this days because of technology, which is the main use of the people, but i also think that banning book is not good because, what if a person can't afford that technology how can a person study or do his/her Home Work.

It Also Makes Kids Think Less. Also Its Takes Away Form Us Lerning Our History An Other Important Events Of Our Life. In Conclusion This Is The Way I Disagree With The Statment.

I agree with the statement , but I don't think that its dangerous. I think that banning books is not a very good idea. If they were to ban books I think that the schools test scores would decline dramatically because the stuff that we learn in the book prepares us for the test.I also think that if we have books then we would be taking a lot of notes. If we didn't have books people would depend on technology an the internet an we would be easily distracted instead of doing homework we would be on Facebook and twitter so our work wouldn't get done or it wouldnt take a long time for it to get done so in conclusion banning books wouldn't be a start thing to do if you care about the future.

  12. I think that we shouldn't ban books. I think we shouldn't because some people like to read. If you don't like reading then don't read. It Wouldn't be fair to others that like to read. For some it would be like taking away there rights. So i think that we should keep all books and if you don't like to read then don't read at all.

  13. I agree with the statement that books should not be banned. Books shouldn't be banned because without books we wouldn't be able to study or learn about a certain thing. People sometimes write books to share their lives with others. These kind of books show people that someone else is going through or has gone through the same thing they might have. Books shouldn't be banned for the simple reason that they allow people to express their selves in a way that they otherwise couldn't.

I totally agree with this statement. I believe that it is really wrong. Banning books is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. By doing this they are setting us up for failure. If this was true I would fight this as hard as I could. Some kids would rather read books , than listen to their teacher talk all the time. Books are a very important part of our education as kids.

  15. I agree with this statement about books shouldn't be banned. Banning books would not be the smart idea to do. People would not know how to read or what reading level their on. The education system would not function right because lots kids are going to be confused and lost. Without books everyone would have to figure it out on their own.
