What does it mean to be "free?" What does "freedom" mean to you, and what sacrifices do you make or would you be willing to make in order to live in a "free" society? Is "freedom" worth it?

ReplyDeleteWhat it means to be free is having the right to express yourself as a person. What freedom means to me is to be able to do what you feel is right or not right without someone judging you. The sacrifices I would make to live in a free society is standing up for everyone. Freedom is worth it because without it we would never have different people, places, things, or our world. Freedom is very special to me.

ReplyDeleteI think that freedom is when you can have the right to do what you want to do in life and not having other people telling you what to do and what not to do also expressing yourself without people telling you no you cant do it. The sacrafice the i would have to make is that i would need to stand up for myself and not letting people telling what to do. I think freedom is worth it because many people have a good heart and want to do the best for this country would do it by serving the country.

ReplyDeleteThe definition of "freedom" varies from person to person, but to me freedom means to be who you are without being discriminated against. To be honest, I am not sure what sacrifices I would make to for freedom. I know that freedom is worth alot and to have freedom is a great feeling. Freedom is worth just about anything, but I don't know what its worth specifically.

To be free mean a lot to me because I would not be able to get the education that I'm getting today. Freedom mean to me a lot to me also cause I would not have the chance to do anything I would like to do today and I would not have a lot of rights. The sacrifices I would make or would be willing to make to live in a free society is not to have so much violence in our society. Also I think if we were to live in a free society we should only pay for updates of our possessions ,food,and wardrobe . Ex. We shouldn't have to pay for cars but we should have to pay for the brakes if they were to go bad. Freedom is worth the a lot but it is a reason we living in america with rights.

ReplyDeleteTo be free means you have many opportunities and you can do what ever you want. Freedom to me means independence and opportunities. To live in a free society, we need to help each other. We need to listen and understand each other. Freedom, in one hand is worth it because due to that some people bring maybe new discovery or new things. But in other hand it's not because people sometimes use it to cause pain to someone.

ReplyDeleteFreedom to me is personal liberty. To live happily in the nation and not having to be dictated by a ruler of some sort.Having freedom is having free-will do as you please. Free-will means that we have the freedom to choose good and evil, truth and falsehood, love and hate, and/or peace and war.As of now , i would sacrifice money to have freedom because if you have freedom , you will have an opportunity to make more in the future.

ReplyDeleteTo be free means to do what ever and when ever you want you do things in your way witout being told or having someone on your back about it, or having to think twice about something yu want to have or do. freedom is to be independent. to be on your own. this is what i think free and freedom means to me.
What does free mean to me ? To be free means to be able to do what you want when you want too, without anyone telling you what to do. Freedom to me is just being able to live without being told how you need to do things and being controlled by another person just like you. I would give up alot just to be free and not have to be controlled. I would stop all the violence and problems in the world so it can be peace. i Would do a lot just to be free. I do think freedom is worth it.

ReplyDeleteBeing "free" means that you can do anything that you want. Freedom is not free because in order to get your freedom you have to sacrifice something. As a young member of society, I could start my sacrifice by being a responsible and discipline student. Practice the values from the theories we learned from school is a good start of sacrifice. We invest ourselves to education that would be our passes for freedom. We should practice freedom with responsibility. Freedom is worth it because everybody needs freedom, we enjoy good things in life because of freedom.
freedom is to do want u want and how you want to do it no matter the cost,or punishment. but then again in the country we live in and who i pray to we should not have to suffer much of a punishment for our freedom. to keep living this freedom life i live. i would fight everyday and pray every night so that god could here my prayers and answer them. and yes it is worth it.

Freedom is to be free do what you want to do and please. Also freedom is the opprotunity to own your own destiny, within the limits of reason and morality. One has the power to make their own priorities and to act upon them accordingly.Freedom also need to be balanced with order.I would do alot of things to be free because i get of tired of people telling me what to do.

ReplyDeleteFree means being able to decide for yourself. I wouldn't make very may sacrfices on my part to be free at my age. While I may not like the decisions someone makes for me, I understand that there is much I dont know of the world that they have learned. I would prefer to be guided rather than running blinding into a forest. This does not mean that freedom is not worth it. I would give a lot for someone to have freedom. Then they would be able to choose whether they want freedom or not. Because in the end, they will be free by simply making the choice.

ReplyDeleteTo be free means that no one has to boss you around and do stuff on their time. Some sacrifices I would make to be free is living under other peoples rule. Yes, I think freedom is worth it because without we would still be under slavery. Freedom is also important because everyone would think they could do anything to somebody without them speaking their mind.

ReplyDeleteTo be "Free" means you can do what you want, without someone owning you and telling you what to do. "Freedom" means you can do whatever you want. The only laws you really have to follow are the state laws and the laws of America. I really don't know what I will sacrifice. Freedom is worth anything, people before us risked their lives for us to be free. Freedom is a great thing to have and it should never be taking advantage of.

According to the dictionary definition the word "freedom" means the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint. In my owns words freedom is the ability to do and speak as one pleases. I don't believe i would personally be able to live without my freedom because knowing that one day i will have all the freedom and not have to listen to my "PARENTS" all the time lifts me up. So yes, i do think freedom is worth fighting for cause everyone has the right too speak and do as they please!

When I hear the word freedom i automatically think about slavery, because slaves were once not free they became free which is an example of freedom. With freedom it does not mean you don't have to obey the law, freedom is in progress to a certain extent. Freedom also can mean the right to do and say certain things to the government for example freedom of speech. Also when I hear freedom i think about segregation.
